June 2016 is here!
Hope you all are enjoying your friends, family, and getting the BBQ on!
Ted Cruz and John Kasich have dropped out of the Republican presidential race.
There will still be many challenges to overcome, but we are with Trump. Strength has been gaining from the much needed right in the GOP.
We might have a leader with balls to put respect all around the world. China and Putin are powerful, and yet – they respect Trump.
Ted Cruz is done and out of the Republican presidential race, making headway for Donald to be the GOP Presidential nominee.
This was a shock as it seemed destined just a few weeks ago that we would end up a contested convention this summer. Cruz had insisted that he would stay in the race until June 7.
Following a painstaking loss to Donald Trump in Indiana, John also suspended his campaign.
Kasich was there all the way till the end – it has been reported that he called his closest friends saying “My heart is not in this.”
Donald Trump, who emerged as the presumptive GOP nominee Tuesday night -when Ted Cruz dropped out.
Trump needs 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination before a contested convention. He has currently has over 1,000.
They put everything on the line in Indiana – and still got beaten.
We wholeheartedly respect these two men, and wish them the best of luck. They are still gears in the American engine.
I believe it takes heart and guts to run for President. Cruz and Kasich had both.
We saw traffic jams around the polling places for a record breaking turnout. This is democracy at work.
We love the United States – I do fear our national debt and the underlying issues of this country. Not sure how much Senator Sanders can help, as taxing our way though this might not be the answer.
We will be standing by the Republican Party as we believe they deserve a chance to create a better America, just like the Democratic Party for the last 8 years.
This is also a huge chance for the Independent Party to become a greater part of the voting process, as we have seen record turnouts for them as well.
Also fair to mention is Mr. John Kasich, a true American, who comes runner up for the Republican Party. Hillary Rodham Clinton also raised a few eyebrows for the dems as well.
Today on February 7th, 2016 – North Korea launched a satellite into space. thenumber28 strongly apposes this and all nuclear testing. It has triggered a wave of international condemnation and prompting strong reaction from an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council.
Even though they claim peaceful purposes, it is being widely viewed by other countries as a front to test a ballistic missile, as last month North Korea reported they had a hydrogen bomb test last month.
Both acts are in defiance of U.N international sanctions.
It was formed by the merger of Lockheed Corporation with Martin Marietta in March 1995. It is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, in the Washington, DC, area. Lockheed Martin employs 116,000 people worldwide. Marillyn Hewson is the current President and CEO.
Lockheed Martin stands as one of the world’s premier companies in the aerospace, defense, security, and technologies industry.
ICBM defense has a multi-tiered system. The United States and our allies would more than likely launch their countermeasures at the ICBM. Some of these defense measures include: jamming, other missiles, lasers, bullets from jets cannons, microwaves, and remotely taking control of the missile.
All the countermeasures are based on hitting the incoming weapon with our own missiles. We have a pretty large naval presence in the Pacific and lots of the boats are equipped to take out a intercontinental ICBM missile.
At the same time there are more likely additional, more classified tactics. ICBMs travel at Mach 10 so I’d imagine they have some electronic countermeasures as well, maybe involving trying to hijack and redirect the missile remotely using special developed military technology.
It was mentioned to me that marines in Japan’s naval forces in the area that antimissile awareness is one of their highest top priorities.
We will be watching North Korea very closely to see how they progress and also retaining faith in the United States government to counter all threats foreign and domestic.
The Number 28 Inc. proudly supports Mr. Donald J. Trump to be our next president of the United States of America and lead the free world.
Currently he holds the #1 lead at twenty eight percent.
We endorse him and wish him luck tomorrow at the Iowa Caucus 2016 event on February 1st, 2016.
Our country has done great things, putting a man on the moon just touches the surface on the freedoms and social conquests for humanity that the USA has established.
I fear what the world would become without the USA. However corruption, politics, greed, and gluttony has destroyed a once mighty nation. Our forefathers are rolling in their graves.
We NEED to Make America Great Again.
I believe in his pledge, his vision, and trust him to get the job done correctly and honorably.
We here at thenumber28 salute you, Mr. Trump. Godspeed.
Currently Donald J. Trump has surged past Ted Cruz in Iowa, while Hillary Clinton is holding a three-point lead over Bernie Sanders, according to the final Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics poll before the Iowa caucuses.
Trump leads Texas Sen. Ted Cruz by 5 points.
Trump captures the support of 28 percent of likely caucus-goers, compared to 23 percent for Cruz, 15 percent for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and 10 percent for former neurosurgeon Ben Carson.
On the Democratic, the data shows Clinton up over Sanders 45 to 42 percent, with just three percent for former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
I believe in America, I believe in Mr. Trump.
In God We Trust. Go Trump !!
F-35 Stealth Fighter Jet will finally make its debut appearance in the UK this summer.
|Number built||162 as of October 2015|
The new stealth fighter is being developed by countries including America and Britain, and is lauded as the world’s most advanced combat jet ever created.
Thenumber28 loves our country, this IS made in America. When you see this puppy roaring the skys you will fear the pride and power of the stars and stripes once more.
F-35A: $98M (low rate initial production and not including the engine, full production in 2018 to be $85M)
The United States Marines have confirmed they intend to fly two of the new Lockheed Martin planes to the UK for their first ever appearance. They are expected to appear at both the Farnborough Air Show and the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire.
Four F-35s are currently being used for training and testing in the US.
US sources said another American stealth fighter, the F-22 could also make an appearance at UK shows this summer.
Michael Fallon, the Defence Secretary, said their appearance would be “a significant milestone”.
Britain has said it will have 48 of the jump jet F-35Bs by 2023 and will eventually go on to buy a fleet of 138.
Britain’s first F-35s should be combat ready by 2018.
The £70 million each combat jets will be called the Lightning II in the UK and be flown by the RAF and Royal Navy.
Lt Gen Jon Davis Deputy, US Marines commandant for aviation, said: “The US Marine Corps is looking forward to demonstrating the capabilities of the F-35B Lightning II in the skies over the United Kingdom this July,”
He said a joint US Marine Corps and UK detachment would use the flights to work more closely together. British and American crews have worked side by side to develop the fighters and US jets will also fly from the Navy’s new aircraft carriers.
The F-35 program ran into technical problems and cost overruns for years, but officials say it has improved and that costs have fallen for the past five years.
Besides Britain, seven other countries helped fund development of the jets: Norway, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Turkey, Italy and the Netherlands. All but Canada and Denmark have since ordered jets, as have Israel, Japan and South Korea.
Hope everyone is keeping cool this summer, maybe spending some extra time with their family on this fine 28th day of June? Even if that’s not possible, a phone call is always reaching and appreciated.
Thank YOU all for coming by and reading my site, hope you all feel like this 100 grand with our 28th president on the front, Woodrow Wilson!
An idea whose time has come:
In God We Trust.
For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress.
Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they didn’t pay into Social Security, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws.
The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform that is being considered…in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn’t seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law.
I truly don’t care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop. This is a good way to do that. It is an idea whose time has come.
This is one proposal that really should be passed around.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution
“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.”
I personally feel everyone should be bound by the same laws, especially if you write the rules.
